Choroidal osteoma is a unique tumor that comprises mature bone in the circumpapillary or macular region.1 Choroidal osteoma showed evolution with change in clinical features over many years, and cases of tumor growth, tumor decalcification or involution, and related choroidal neovascularization (CNV) were documented.1-4 Herein, we present a case of choroidal osteoma with serous retinal detachment (SRD) in a 63-year-old man.

We present a case of congenital anosmia in a 23-year-old man. He was unable to sense smell since birth. He showed scale-out results on T&T olfactogram. Brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) detected absence of the olfactory bulbs, tracts, and hypoplasia of the olfactory sulci. MRI findings were useful for diagnosing and confirming congenital anosmia.

The present study showed the association of a severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SCoV) accessory protein, 3a, with plasma membrane and intracellular SCoV particles in infected cells. 3a protein appeared to undergo posttranslational modifications in infected cells and was incorporated into SCoV particles, establishing that 3a protein was a SCoV structural protein.
